Professional Teams of Flight Doctors, Nurses, Logistics Specialists and Air Crew
The most important part of Air Rescue Africa is the superb team of medical professionals who work tirelessly to ensure that medical transportations are conducted efficiently, comfortably and with the utmost safety.
Delivering high quality care in the aviation environment calls for special individuals who are resourceful, experienced, flexible and able to work independently under demanding conditions.
Our medical escort team is made up of doctors and intensive care nurses trained in emergency medicine and critical care transport in the aviation environment.
All medical staff members maintain their certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and Aviation Medical training courses.
Specialist neonatal registered nurses are also on staff to provide the highest level of care for our littlest of patients. All medical evacuations are supervised by a medical director and communications are maintained throughout the entire medical transport with our medical teams.
Communicating across vast distances, assessing patient needs, arranging ground transport and obtaining access into many countries are just a few of the tasks that are accomplished with speed and efficiency by our staff at our 24 hour Air Rescue Africa communications center.
All medical transports undergo a full medical review as part of our ongoing education program and quality assurance process
